Why write such a book when so many exist?

Anthony unsuccessfully tried for years to replicate the Indian Restaurant tastes in his kitchen. He used many of the books which promised to pass on the required secrets but found them to be severely lacking. Very dissatisfied, Anthony decided to discard the books which shed hardly any light on this subject and decided to learn for himself. How hard could it be?

More importantly he was allowed to document all he saw, as long as he guaranteed their anonymity.
